polarfleece quarter sheets

Hi,

I was looking thru the State Line catalog and noticed the quarter sheets.  Has anyone used the quarter sheets instead of rump rugs?  Any comments good or bad?  Look like a good way to keep saddle blanket clean and rump warm at same time.
