Angie's sponging prowess

What was it Angie was telling us about how she could
flick a sponge at the base of a fern... no need for
large bodies of water...?

Found this suspicious pic over on Euroenduro.

In front is Scottish visitor Dawn Saunders on Ben Amil,
and behind is Angie and Kaboot (South Fork Ride, TN). It
doesn't look much like "a few drops at the base of a fern"
to me:
