Dorothy, if you've never managed a ride before, you may not know that AERC has
an excellent insurance program in place.  Ride managers can get their
insurance through this policy for $110/one-day event.  This would include a
100-miler that carries over to the next day, but multi-day rides are priced at
$110/day.  Contact Bob Walsh of Insurance One at 
1-800-355-1084 ext. 320, OR ask for the person who handles the AERC policy.
