Ride & Tie Parties!

The Ride and Tie Assocation, a 501(c)3 organization that didn't have to
change any Articles, etc., is putting on two parties this next year.
And you are all invited!

One is the co-hosting of the Friday Night Dance at the AERC Convention
in February. Like all of the last few years the Ride and Tie Association
is only charging endurance riders a $2.00 admission. Ride & Tiers are
$3.00 to dance, $5.00 to talk. There will be a restricted mike this year
and more dancing.

The other is a week long party from July 4th through July 10th. The
29th annual Easyboot Ride & Tie Championship will be held on July 10 at
the Rock Creek Ranch at the site of the old Powerhouse (still in
operation) just out of Klammath Falls, Oregon on Hywy 140. The Running Y
Ranch and Rock Creek Ranch are co-hosting the event this year and it
promises to be one of the most challenging and fun weeks.

You are all invited to share the base camp for that week and ride the
40 miles of premarked trails overlooking the lake. Come share in the
weeklong activities and sights near Crater Lake. Base camp is at the
site of an old ghost town just 1/2 mile off the highway. Water is easily
available at the camp and miles and miles of riding on over 52,000 acres
is accessible. Endurance riders are FREE, no charge for camping or
riding.

Camp and trails open on July 4th weekend. There is a surprise party on
Wednesday, Potluck on Thursday, RAT Race on Saturday with a no-host
banquet and free dance that afternoon. A Shriners Mule Camp will be held
that same week and they will be providing the meal on Sat.

Mark your calenders. Just be carefull if you bring your running or
hiking shoes!
