Re: WEG:Deep sand/High Humidity
Hi Teddy,
When I was in Riyahd (sp?) several years ago in Dec and Jan I noticed
that some days were dry and some were very similar to a FL winter day
before a cold front moved through - wind off the water so it is fairly
humid. I was fairly susprised. But this is a period of unstable weather
in that part of the world and the Persian Gulf is warm. I didn't
venture outside much during mid day but when I did it was hot. I felt
sorry for the poor guys out on the front line.
I don't remember it ever being the same degree of humidity as the OD can
get, but it was not like Utah either. But I was only there for about
three weeks total. But you been to both and being from Ohio you do know
your humidity <G>.
Good luck to all and keep those horses hydrated so they can come back
and say "we told you so".
