Wild About Horses/Caspers

While on vacation, one of the books I read was "Wild About Horses", by
Lawrence Scanlan. It was excellent. It looks at man's relationship with
horses through history. I really enjoyed it and even my
"former-non-horsey" husband picked it up and read most of it. I say
former because he rode the Caspers Challenge, CA. 25 all by himself,
with out me telling him how to ride, what to do ;-) and he placed 4th
out of 66 riders. I just wanted to Brag 'cause I am real proud of him
and happy that he has some interest in MY sport, although I did most of
the training on his horse.
