For three years in a row my vet has prg-checked mares open who turn out to be pregnant, with disastrous and costly results. Are there any studies published about accuracy of these exams? how responsible can I hold this vet? In 30 years of breeding I have never experienced this problem. I'm giving the man exact breeding dates and not having him check any mares under 30 days, more likely 45. No, I am no longer using him. Thanks, Alexi in N.California
