Re: need help/mystery lameness
Many years ago, the horse I was riding exhibited freak lameness problems --
from perfectly sound at a trot to dead lame from one step to the next. It
took 22 months to diagnose the problem -- a tiny bone chip in the fetlock
joint. When it slipped into a certain spot, the horse would go instantly
lame. This may not reflect the history of your particular horse, but do you
think there is any possibility of there being a bone chip floating around
somewhere??
