Nose scratches??

I don't know if my gelding has the same thing, but it's sure new to me.  He
has a good-sized snip, but these little bumps are in the blood bay areas on
either side of the snip as well.  But they don't look like the minor
scratches outbreaks he occasionally gets.  And they sure don't look like
the rain rot I have to fight in the spring (after winter's over but before
it's warm enough for bathing).
