Has anyone experienced "Gravel"? Our arab, Ranief, came up severly lame Friday evening, and after 2 days of extreme worry, the vet concluded that it was gravel and had passed up his hoof and out either from the cornary band or thru a new slight "slit" in his hoof wall. We have a 25 mile ride this weekend, and altho he now seems fine, we are concerned about entering him. Comments? suggestions? experiences?

BTW, if any of you are interested in a BEAUTIFUL ride this weekend, the Pine Marten in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan will be a full color!!
