Yes, you can injure the hoof unintentionally if you did into with your
screwdriver so please, be very careful when stretching that heel strap
not to dig into the hoof. The vet wrap helps to protect the hoof
against this but it is something to be aware of.

Use a screwdriver to get an Easyboot OFF, not ON. Use it to hold "teeth" away
from hoof to get Easyboot off. NEVER use it on the heel (unless you are
prying it off over a steel shoe, in which case you are not dmagaing the bulbs
of the heel).
