Is your new saddle equiped with a riding cloth and wool numnah? I
have two orthoflex saddles, one new in August. The "newest" model ,
which is the one I am looking at now, is the one without the booties.
I have tried everything, including natural wool booties, and I still
get loin rubbing with the "traditional" type saddle. Steve Rojeck
uses a bootie plus a flat pad but I have had little luck with that
arrangement. The loin rubbing only occurs when the horse has hair,
it does not show up as a problem during the summer. Interesting!
