Anyone close enough to North Texas should consider coming to the first
endurance ride of the season in our area, the Frigid Digit 25/50. It is held
in the LBJ National Grasslands, Decatur, TX (NW of Ft. Worth on Hwy 287).
Contrary to it's name, LBJ Grasslands, the ride is not totally flat (just
mostly). There are a couple of small hills, lots of creek crossings and lots
of trees. The date of our ride will be Feb. 7, 1998. For more information,
you can e-mail George McGraw at georgem@computrac.com and he will get your
address to mail you a entry when they are printed. He is our ride manager
this year. Come join the fun!!!! Weather promises to be typical Texas,
anything goes (snow, sleet, heat, whatever).
