I rode a horse with a RF club foot for many years. Previous to my owning him
he had been campaigned very hard winning at least one hundred and many 50's.
A club foot is relative. Jokingly I say it is relative to the knowledge and
experience of your shoer. Any hoof deformity or growth problem can be made
insignificant or life threatening by your farrier. A good farrier is often
more important than a good vet.
The bottom line is if you have a good farrier, go for it.
