Carrie and anyone interested,
Be careful; sidepulls are not all the same as far as "control" goes.
(Believe me, I have four). Make sure your nosepiece is something pretty
hard..leather covered rawhide or something like that.
My most "severe" is a cheapie leather double rawhide noseband from =
Jeffers.
I had Marilyn Horstmeyer make me a really nice biothane one two years =
ago
(of DeSoto Tack) that I like a lot. Two of our horses have to have a
little more control...they are in mechanical hackamores...
