Does anyone out there on Ridecamp know
anything about a saddle that was made
in the 19th century (possibly later as
well), called the Shafto Shifting Panel
Saddle or similar.
It is listed in Moseman's Illustrated
Catalog of Horse Furnishing Goods, c.
1870. This catalogue was reprinted by
the UK equestrian publishers J.A. Allen
some years ago.
Any info at all about this saddle very
eagerly sought!
Please reply directly, not to Ridecamp,
since I am not subscribed at the moment.
Thanks!
