I had my eyes opened at the ROC this year. All AERC does is sanction
it, and reluctantly as Susan doesn't always follow the rules. She
sets the qualifications and gets sponsors. The riders get 100 miles
of trail and if they are lucky, meals. Lots of hype and ceremony for
the riders, lots of $$ in Susan's pocket. Why aren't we all doing
this?
