Thanks for posting. Sometimes a group that is in a position of power
(AERC Board) loses the ability to use common sense. My biggest fear as a
rider is that if I am tested that somehow my horse will test positive to
minute traces of a drug that I used weeks ago or that was present on some
equipment I used. Common sense tells you that if drugs are present in minute
amounts they are not going to effect the outcome of a race or the effect the
soundness of your horse.
It's important that you protested that decision regardless of the
outcome. I am sorry you were harassed by board members. It's important that
AERC members are aware of the interaction that occurs between board directors
and members behind the scenes.
