I hope to see you there. I will be doing my first LD ride this weekend. Two
weeks ago, my mare Ariel and I did our first CTR. We placed 1st in Novice
lightweight and if it had been a race, I we would have been a shoe-in for
first place as we were last our of camp (11 minutes behind the first rider)
and first in. Of course we took a time penalty for being in 9 minutes early,
but Ariel was just going at a very comfortable pace and I was not pushing.
She was ready to do at least ten more miles. I, on the other hand, probably
would have been dying... <g>
Anyway, hope to see you there.

Joyce,
As far as I know, KKS Equest is still a go. I hope so, since we're leaving
early Friday morning. The number I have for Susan Griffin is (509)
697-3328. Regina Rose talked to her recently I believe; unfortunately
Regina is out of town until Thursday night, but as far as I know she
confirmed ride camp is the same as last year (which of course means nothing
to me since I've never done this ride and I'm just tagging along with
Regina).
