Susan, I'll bet others don't mind reading the great American novel when
it's as well written and pertinent as was the piece on rice bran. (Now to
try to find wheat bran in this area...)
My bragging about having had almost no sick or injured horses over the
years is coming home to roost; now one of the draft mares who has what the
former owner assured me was "just' old scarring from a wire cut on her
anterior hock, shows that it isn't cleanly healed-became hot and puffed up
and wept a bit. Obviously something going on in there. Here we go again.
Where did I put the Epsom salts? When am I going to actually go up the
mountain through the golden trees instead of winterizing, building and
medicating? Arrgh!
