Does anybody actually feeds ABC's Rush Creek 1:1 Mineral free choice
like the label says to...We gave our horses it free choice for about 3
days and they ate whatever we put out! The rides after feeding it, their
coats, tack and our legs were covered with salt crystals. (And, boy did
they suck the water tank dry every day!) This doesn't sound right to
me!! I can't believe they're so short on salt that they needed so much
to catch up...I think the stuff just tastes too damn good and they eat
it whether they "need" it or not...anyway, if you get a chance ask on
the net and see how anyone else does (or doesn't) regulate intake. Lucy
(a pigmy goat) LOVES it too and would eat it till she died of salt
poisoning!!
These horses are also given electrolytes when needed (they do
competitive trail rides).
Any advice/related experience with this product would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Ruth
