I am very interested in attempting to sew some blankets, etc. for my
horses. My husband suggested something that I had never thought of and
wondered if anyone has attempted it. He thought Tyvek (the housewrap
material) might make a great waterproof sheet. It is completely
waterproof, but breathes in the other direction. The only drawback that we
can think of is the "noise" the fabric makes. It is extremely durable.
Any comments?
