It's Monday night football,especially in Inverness,Fl.with Jacksonville
playing. I would recommend to anyone interested in helping to change the
inequities in this sport due to the weight divisions to buy a RACING
FORM or visit a racetrack(if one is near by) or go to the local sports
newspaper stand. This will help you understand the jargon in classifying
horses as I talk about Class I,II,III,allowance and claiming horses.
This will be very important as we move through the stages of weight
handicapping. I realize that all the members donot race, however, I
donot believe there is one member that would not want to win a race
given the opportunity....That's what this is all about ------ to give
everyone an opportunity to win a race.......make the race equal.
Deena(my jockey (and wife) cause she rides at 173)and I are off for the
ROC. We are only spotting the favorites 8lbs. so with any kind of racing
luck we might make it tough for them or even win!!!! I'll take you all
step by step through the classes of races, how horses are classified, and
what does this mean to you.
