>Heard this one when I was a child...That is getting on to be a long time.
>One white foot...buy him,
>Two white feet...try him,
>Three white feet...deny him,
>Four white feet and a nose,
>Cut off his head and feed him to the crows.
I've heard several variations. The one used in the movie "True Grit"
was, AIR,
One white foot ... buy him.
Two white feet ... try him.
Three white feet ... be on the sly.
Four white feet ... pass him by.
But then the speaker (talking to her new horse with four white feet)
said "But I have never held with that."
