I might add that the formula was wisely formulated by our founders to
adjust the weight distribution. I agree with this writer that more
impetus should be put on BC winners as in Australia whereas
featherweights and lightweights are barely recognized. It is coming to
the point in this country that in order to win a race you have to have a
featherweight or lightweight jockey!
