You wouldn't be using fuzzies on her halter, would you?
My Morgan had been successfully vanned by professionals
in the big rigs and smaller 3-horse vans like the old
Imperators where you unload down a steep ramp. Then,
with me, he began *LEAPING* out of the van. We'd get to
the edge of the ramp, and he'd crouch down like a dog,
then make a flying leap for the ground. It was
damned dangerous!
Dummy me. I finally figured out that the nose fuzzy I
was putting on his halter was acting like a shadow roll.
My poor old guy literally *couldn't see* the ramp and
thought I was leading him off a 3 1/2 foot precipice.
So, naturally, he jumped. I removed the nose fuzzy and
we havn't had a problem since.
If you have fuzzies on the crownpiece of her halter they
may be acting like blinkers. She may not be able to see
what is behind her.
Just a thought...
