Regarding: Costs of rides. Please keep in mind I too do not mind paying
for well maintained and put on rides. I'd prefer to pay for a good ride
than go to a bad one for less money. I only meant to say I can pay for
only so many in a summer so this does become a limiting factor. All of
the rides I've gone to were well done and worth every penny, I just
can't afford to hit them all.
I think putting on a ride must be a labor of love and am grateful there
are people willing to do it at all!
I'm DYING to know how the Gardnerville Gallop went. I "heard" it was a
beautiful and well put on ride. Congrads to Jason Wonders who came in
8th on Socks, I saw Socks in the pasture yesterday and he doesn't even
look like he'd been ridden. Please fill us in riders, I'm sure Karen
Chaton is still recovering! :-)
My stirrup broke in the middle of an uphill fast trot just before a
burst to the gallop. Reminder to check that equipment and more
importantly, have a horse who listens when you ask it to whoaaaaa!
while hanging on for dear life! Plus, I was on a strange horse! Thanks
to Jason's good training with his arab RIO, no falls or tragedies...only
a reminder!!!
Lastly, anyone know how the trails at Cuneo Creek turned out? They told
me last week they were still mapping them out since some trails were
washed out.
Happy and Safe riding to all!
Kimberly (&Mystery the Morab...wow man, I can really keep up with those
arabs after all!)
