I used the measuring guide at the Baines Saddlery site
(http://www.vitalo.com/frankbaines/), traced my horse's back in several
places and faxed the whole thing to Frank. Voila! my saddle arrived and its
a perfect fit. I think he's working on a grid that you can download and
attach as a file via e-mail to save long distance phone costs. Altho, faxing
at off hours only cost $3-.
It took about six weeks as they had to make it from scratch and then there
was the UPS strike. It was worth the wait tho. I'll be using it in our 1st
35 next weekend and I'll let you all know how it does.
Wish I'd had it 2 weeks sooner, I'd be tempted to ride the Vt 100. Only 35
entries this year:(. Just wait, next year when I'm ready, there will be one
hundred entries;)
If anyone wants more info, feel free to e-mail me.
Ps: If anyone has trouble finding flexi-curves, they are availalbe from Art
supply stores, or let me know and I'll send you one.
