It would help to know if it was NATRC, ECTRA, etc. Then we'd know what
rules were being followed! Every organization is different for the
ctr's.

If you are unsure of the rules, talk to the ride manager first. If at
all possible, get a copy of the organizations rules to pour over. See
if you know anyone who is going that is a veteran. It should help.
