Whether or not the mares are turned out and being treated "humanely" on
a day-to-day basis doesn't avoid the fact that they're being bred
continually, year after year, with the foals being taken away at a very
young age and sent to slaughter, just so Premarin can be produced when a
prefectly good synthetic substitute exists.
