Pat, this is funny! After I went into my doctor's office to find out
about my back pain, after telling the physician's assistant that I do a
lot of horseback riding, she said, "Well everyone knows that riding is
not good for your back." I said, "They do?" After going to several
specialists and neurosurgeons, another PA said "Have you ever thought
about taking calcium supplements?" I said, "It has occurred to me but
didn't know if it would do any good." So I decided to try it with about
900 mg to start off with. It made a 100% difference in the way my back
feels. I have not had very many problems after that and the
physciatrist (spelling of a sports injury doctor) said "It shouldn't
make any difference in the way your back feels". So I stopped going to
the doctors and increased my calcium intake. Voila! It hardly hurts at
all! I'm almost a new woman!
