The Alturas 4-H center is a good stopping place on the way to Bend.
Unfortunately they do not always have the water turned-on, but the pens
and arena are great. It's next to the Little League fields just West of
395 near the CHP HQ.

There is also an RVpark at Honey Lake with horse pens but they ask that
you park quite aways from the horses. We like to be close so we opt for
Alturas.

Diesel is avalible in Alturas, Tule Lake, Klamath Falls and LaPine. The
restaurant at the Alturas auction North of town is really good.

If you get to Bend before Sept. 8th, Cynthia and I have rented the Ogden
Horse Camp (Vet Check #4/lunch stop) as a courtesy to early arrivals.
The OC has the particulars. It is available from Sept. 2nd on.
