Trails Funds under attack

The National Recreational Trails Fund is under attack. Some environmental
groups want to kill the program. This would mean the loss of Idaho's(my
particular state but it would mean the same thing to your state) only
dedicated source of funding for non-motorized trails and a substantial
portion of funding for Idaho's multiple use and motorized trails. Please
pass on to your trails activists. I'll be sending a letter to my reps in
Congress supporting NRTF reauthorization. Please encourage anyone else you
might know to do the same.

Recv'd this from our Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation Non-motorized
recreation director today. If we want to continue to have federal funding to
apply to our trails systems we had better get with it.
