TO ALL THE SORE BACKED HORSES AND RIDERS
Back several years ago I was trading horses and mules until I found the
right ones for my family an I. Seems that with every change I would also
have to change to different saddle. Well on what I thought would be the
right mount, he started having back soreness well I said, self enough is
enough and I started looking for the a saddle that would fit most
everything I would ride. I looked at Assies, cordora, Sharon Sarre and a
allot more. After contacting Ortho Flex and talking to some friends who
have 4 of them. I bite the bullet and purchased one. This saddle has a
medium width tree and the panels are set for me at 170 lbs. I have used
this saddle on several different horses and have always had a good fit
with no more back problems. Even when I went up in weight to 200 lbs.
the saddle still gave excellent fit (to the horse). Just recently a rider was
at a ride and within the first 2 miles the horse refused to go up hill so the
rider pulled. Stating that there was something wrong with his horse
maybe tired. Well my friend was there and he checked the horses back
and it was sore. Another person there had an Ortho Flex there for sale,
the person with the sored back horse tried the saddle and it was a good
fit. On sunday the rider used the saddle riding safety with know
problems. And purchased the saddle. Another happy camper. At present
ther are serveral dealers for Ortho Flex, I strongly recommend that you
contact one of these dealers and have them check the horses back and
recommend a saddle and tree combination. They have a great warranty.
Or find someone who has one and ask them to loan it to you. I do not like
the pads that come with them and went on to use a gel pad, these pads
are thin and put back down on the horse.
Well that's all I can think of for now.
