I have a friend who makes custom saddles by molds of the horses back. They
don't always fit. Horses' shapes change as conditioning demands; a saddle
that fits perfectly today might not fit at the end of the season or the
beginning of next. I highly recommend the sports saddle as it molds to the
horse regardless of what condition the horse is in. Least ways that's my
experience.
