In regards to Linda's posts on EPM and Ivermectin and vaccinations--some time
ago I stirred things up on this list with my revelation that I no longer
vaccinated my horses--as many of you know I have been collecting data on this
subject for an in depth article I plan to write on it. I just want to say,
that all of my research so far ABSOLUTELY supports Linda's contention that
frequent vaccination and worming, esp. after stress, predisposes a horse to
auto-immune diseases such as EPM. Not worming a horse is a good way to kill
him, but worming him too frequently, regardless of need, is poison of a
different flavor.
Trish & "pretty David" (trying to catch up with about 2000 e-mail posts, now
that our computer has decided to behave once more---I showed it the article
about the man who pulled out a handgun and shot his personal computer several
times--"apparently in frustration (!)" and the local police, called to the
scene, were able to safely retrieve the gun. Charges of firing a weapon in
a residential area are pending, but NO WAY is any jury gonna convict this
guy--not if any of 'em own a computer!)
