Grain - times of feeding per day: Anywhere between 7 and 9 a.m. between 4
and 6 or 7 p.m. Also a lunch whenever back from riding..could be anytime
Roughage - times of feeding per day: right after meals and during winter
several times during the day. Again, could be anytime
Grain and Roughage at the same time? (yes or no): yes, just for convenience
Colics of horses since on this regime: none
I am of the same opinion as you...I think horses would be more inclined to
colic from gastric expectation of a rigid feeding time. I hope you publish
your survey results but I imagine most endurance riders feed by need rather
than schedule.
