easyboots again!!

Hi all!

I'm sitting here reading about easyboots and I am getting=20
overexcited!! :-)

Basil's front feet grow quite quickly and steel shoes start to move=20
about and clink really quickly. It is costing me a fortune in money=20
and I can foresee missing rides because of it (as my farrier comes at=20
6 weekly intervals and isn't inclined to nip over to fix a pair of=20
shoes on just the one horse). The hind feet are fine and end up with=20
so many nail holes that I'm worried about the integrity of the wall.=20
I would love to use easyboots over barefoot feet.

So!

Can somebody please answer some more questions??

Are easyboots OK on barefoot nags? Are they worse that way?

Anyone get away with not using the foam? Or is it necessary all the=20
time?

I was thinking to about leaving nag barefoot mostly and maybe use=20
easyboots in front for short riding at home and all round for longer=20
rides at home and maybe with foam for actual rides.

Is this an OK way of using the boots? Do they raise the foot much off=20
the ground? Do the feet have to be trimmed in a special way so that=20
the presence of the boot doesn't affect angles and whatnot?=20

I am full of questions and I'm slowly going through the archives to=20
read EVERYTHING about easyboots (unfortunately our netscape is so=20
sloooooow).....

Is it best to buy easyboots over the internet for someone in=20
the UK? They are quite expensive over here (40-50 dollars equiv. I=20
think).

ANY easyboot info GRATEFULLY received (list or private)

Cheers!

Liz and Basil (the nag)
