easyboots exclusively?

By all means, ride your horse withotut shoes. I do. But then my
mare is a Paso Fino with very hard little black feet. I even ride
her barefoot on some pretty rocky terrrain. I have never seen how
shoes can prevent stone bruising - unless you include pads. Biggest
problem with bare feet is the sand papering of sandy roads/trails.
Trimming -I've never met a farrier who complains - is a matter of
growth rate vs wear rate. I seldom trim when doing much road work.
Wear = growth. Occassionally a little correction is needed. You
will have to be the judge.

I have heard of peopl using easy boots routinely. You will probably
hear from many about this. It is my understanding that the front
feet need the most protection. I have occassionally shod just front.
So you might get by with easy boots just there. But then some horse
I know are wooses and won't take a sound step without STEAL SHOES!
