She's a former journalist and A-Circuit hunter/jumper show horsewoman who
has written two hilariously funny and entertaining detective stories
starring Natalie Gold, a journalist and A-Circuit hunter/jumper show
horsewoman. Natalie is a true horsewoman, reveling in the smell of horse
sweat and fresh manure, skipping out of work when the boss is busy,
headed to the barn for an illicit trail ride. She's also a
tongue-in-cheek Jewess who dreams of having "goyishe thighs" like the
tall skinny blonde WASPs she rides against.
Her first book, "Horse of a Different Killer" is now in paperback, while
her latest book, "Chestnut Mare, Beware" is available in hardcover. You
can order both from my favorite website, http://www.amazon.com.
I am an avid reader of all types of fiction, particularly
mystery/detective stories and intrigue/thriller/action/spy stories. I have
read every Dick Francis book at least three times. I will pick up any
book at the library that has a horse on the cover. I like Westerns,
too, when they're well-written. I'm in love with Larry McMurtry. If you
have any book recommendations for me, please pass them on!
