Patty (and Hollywood), I saw your note on the list,

I offer just such a place to stop over in the Auburn area. I have
B&B-style lodging for riders and acres of grass pasture and/or paddock
facilities for horses. If you'd rather use your own camper, I can
provide you a flat spot with a hookup. :-) You would also have use of
the trails here if you'd like to give Hollywood a chance to stretch
out. See our web site at the location given below for a full
description and driving directions.

One of our recent guests was a doctor and his wife from Carmel who
are practicing for the Tevis Ride coming up on the 19th. If you would
like to contact them as a reference or about driving times from the
Monterey area, let me know. If memory serves, they took about 5 hours
including stops to get to our place. The Tahoe Rim Ride start (Robie
Park, same as the Tevis) is another hour and a half to two hours of
trailering from here.

Give me a call at 916-637-4644 and we can chat about your plans. ...Or
send a number where I can reach you. :-)

Regards, Nat
