The more I read and learn, the more frightened and depressed I become!
Is it truly hopeless or what? Are horsepeople in generally just totally
crazy? It seems to me there is no safe way to do ANYTHING with a horse!

Sorry, just venting my paranoia again. I have to let off the steam
periodically so I don't end up catatonic on the floor of my kitchen. :)
