Teddy, I agree wholeheartedly.
At the Tom Quilty a few weeks ago, my wife's horse was leading at the end of
the first 50 km, passed the vet check with no problems - BUT, we knew he had a
mild tie-up. Took him to a senior vet who knows the horse and he confirmed the
diagnosis. The question was does he continue (vet said he would probably be
ok) - horse came first obviously so we pulled him, despite that Caroline had a
very good chance of top five.
Horse must come first.
