Posting this for my sister in Ohio; please pass around. If she can't find any
adoptee locally, I'm going to give her my older mare, but that means a couple
days trailering, and time off work. If there's a needier or an
attention-deprived horse between me (SE Pennsylvania) and her, I'd be willing
to help get it to her. Call me at work(800) 877-7074, ask for Bridget Brickson

WANTED: Smallish but sturdy, quiet, rideable horse (14.3-15H or so), for young
kids' 4-H projects, possibly private lessons, and occasional adult trail ride
(135 or 180 lbs w/o saddle). Old is fine, broodmare would be great, not
necessary to do distances (probably less than 15 mi, once a month at most).
Excellent care and attention. Will consider adopting its buddy horse/animal
too, as we have none now. Newish, run-in shed, paddock, electric tape fence, 4
ac. pasture, 5 min hack to indoor arena. Monique & Joe, and Amanda and Connor,
