<< I looked at a 12 yr. old gelding (named Indian Radiance) yesterday and had
questions about the papers. The horse originally came from El Cajon, CA
and the breeders name was Durban (if I remember correctly) and the sire was
Indian Banner. Anyway, the papers were never sent in for transfer of
ownership so they have a signature from 1994. Does anyone know if there
might be any problems transfering these papers? Is anyone familiar with
 this bloodline?

Carol,
Having had several clients who had these kind of problems, generally, if the
papers are correctly signed over by the recorded owner (the name on the front
of the papers) you are essentially skipping an "owner. But since you now have
the horse, it should be as s imple as sending them in with a payment for the
rather LARGE transfer fee that muct now be owed if the papers were signed
over in 1994. They mare ask for a copy of your bill of sale. Good luck!
