Thanks for your support with the raffle for the half Arab-Curley donated =
by Al-Marah Arabians to raise money for the Squad. With your help and =
support buying and selling the raffle tickets ( $5.00 each ) I feel =
confident we can reach our goal to raise $12,000, enough to pay the =
expenses of this Squad and put funds away for the 1999 Squad so =
hopefully more riders will be encouraged to nominate. There are really =
great horse/rider teams in our region and with the hope of financial =
support more will be able to nominate in the future.=20

With the help of the vast network of endurance riders and all their =
friends and horse lovers, I'm confident we can meet our goal... but I do =
need your help to distribute and sell tickets .I still have plenty of =
raffle tickets left for the 3 year old gelding or mare ( your choice). I =
guarentee that the horses selected by Al-Marah for this raffle is the =
best in terms of conformation, substance and endurance potential, and =
disposition..

Let me know if anyone is willing to help the Squad by buying or selling =
raffle tickets. If you're going to a ride I'd be glad to send you some =
tickets to sell, they are very easy to sell at rides or just to people =
who are interested in horses, ie 4-H, Riding Clubs etc.

Thanks again for all who have contacted me to buy tickets and all those =
who have offered to help sell. Mid -July I will post where we stand in =
terms of funds raised by then. The drawing will be August 25th at =
Al-Marah in Tucson, so we still have plenty of time.

If anyone has any great marketing or funds raising ideas please let me =
know. I'm' game to try anything that will help us reach our goal.
