Perhaps this is common knowledge, but does anyone know if horses are
sensitive to poison ivy? We have about 5 acres of what used to be a
dairy farm which I'd like to fence in. At first glance it appears to
be slightly overgrown hay fields, but at closer inspection poison
ivy covers the entire area, below the grass. This noxious plant is
just everywhere in my area of southern NY, and I'm not sure how best
to get rid of it. Plowing? Poisons? Any one suffered through this
same problem?
