Just wondering about Lew's electrolyte mix... His recipe calls for less NaCl
than the one I got out of a horse magazine (16oz vs 26oz) and he also adds
regular, old (??) epsom salts. Do you know what the Na+, K+ and Mg breakdown
is? I could probably figure it out but thought you or someone else might
already have it.
Hey, Susan or Tom if you are still out there.... what is the recommended or
proven balanced mix of these salts for the endurance horse during training &
competition. Oh, maybe I should check the archives. Will do if no one has
time to answer again.
<< 1 lb table salt
22 ounces or 2 boxes of Morton Lite Salt
1 ounce magnesium salts (Epsom salts)
