Jessica, please, please the majority of us can't tell you how we
appreciate you managers. I have not done your ride but can appreciate
all the work you did.
I am so sick of those FEW over competitive, serious riders who care
of nothing but placing. Those few complain so much then ruin it for all
of us...I have mentioned it before but we lost a ride south of Carson
city because the manager had to deal with several top riders who got
lost not reading thier map and complained so , using fowl language and
even called their lawyer right their on their cell phone and created
such a scene that now the rest of us no longer have this ride.
I get sooooo mad. I have watched similiar few run people off the
trails complain really loud when caught behind you on a nartrow trail
with no where's to pull aside, about having to be behind you for an
extra minute. I observed one person that ruins a horse per year brag
about having a horse out for a year with a suspensory problem and just
got it out in training one month before run the horse up the hill. The
same people if the ride isn't going well for them bite your head off for
just saying "HI" to them.
Well, I have news for you few. We are not going to let YOU ruin it
for the rest of us that enjoy the rides as Bob Morris mentioned...to
savor the rivers, mountains and views and feel pride in completing.
Many of you that try to win at all cost and at the expense of
sportmanship, I remember you for your rudeness not for your
trophies...in fact who does remember? Those names are soon forgetten
and who cares anyway!!!!!!
The people I truly respect and will remember till I die are the ones
I observe spend that extra time to water their horse or stops and asks
me if everything is OK. who does not let me suck them along only to
blast by at the last watering hole (not stopping) to beat me in.
Those people who are habitual complainers, rude, and take winning
too seriously don't spoil it for the rest of us.
go stay at home and polish your awards, we don't give a @#!! to have you
at rides and could care less about where you place. LET THE REST OF US
HAVE FUN!
