Hi all!
My boys just got shod -- at 6 am this morning -- by my very
good but very busy and somewhat grumpy farrier. (hey, when you find a good
farrier, you put shoes on whenever he or she can do it!)

My head was full of questions for him, about the stuff I'd been
reading about here ... natural / 4-point trims, squaring the toes, etc.....
but when I saw his T-shirt, all my suggestions for him just flew out the
window and I didn't say a thing to him about how to shoe my guys ... just
let him do his job. Here's what his shirt said:

" The more specific you get about how you want your horse shod,
the more your farrier will do what he damn well pleases!"

I haven't been disappointed yet by letting him use his own
judgement and experience! (Maybe I've just been lucky)
